Soak the stone for about 20 minutes, or until the stone stops producing bubbles. And splash water on the stone as needed.

It is a medium grit stone for starter
It has nice nutural stone feeling to it
It cuts fast like 1200 grit stone, but its sharpening result is fine #1200 stone. The best quality stone among other #1200 stones

It cuts faster than my shapton 1000, both the glass and pro mustard ones.The feedback is very different. A lot more tactile. The best thing is how it seems to get the edge sharp with less time and energy...and the scratch pattern is clearly finer. I felt that the chisel got a good cutting edge with less time... read more ↓
